Title: Pirate metal!

Ok, in the beginning there was Black Jack (http://ausrock.blogspot.com/2008/04/blackjack-five-pieces-of-eight-1985.html), Melbourne's premier Pirate Metal band. back in the 80's, I saw these dudes in their puffy shirts doing metal sea shanties. It was a sight to behold!

Well, some quarter of a century later, some Scot's have cottoned onto the idea, and created Alestorm. And this is the result (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7sHLjI1sQE).

Thank god for the Scottish.
