The important thing to remember is that, with the posts per page raised, that's more data to pull down each time a page refreshes. Thus, it will take longer for pages to load, the longer they get. It will also negatively impact the bandwidth-capped like joe.

Yeah, trying to find where the pics are becomes a headache when the numbers change.

I liked having more posts per page, but then I have a good connection with no real limit on anything. Whatever works.

I'd prefer to have a smaller number of posts per page because it's less daunting having to read five sets of ten (or two sets of twenty five) than one set of fifty. Plus our internet is pretty slow at times. It's a double win.

I surf the net without images on, if i want to view something I start clicking this and that and then refresh that page. I would be doing this even if my cap wasent so fucked up. On 3G I have seen speeds of 450kb a second, once, as a burst. The dl speed as a rule will level out at 120kb. The icon showing 3G "connecting" at 7.2MBs, is a cock tease, anybody here remember trying to dl porn on dial-up ? yeah..!

i like it being a smaller number, 'cuz there's no "First Unread" option, and it makes it a lot easier to jump to the last page.
Yeah, i know ~ there are a MILLION ways to make it easier (i.e., latest post first),
but i like to try to figure things out. ;)
