J.G. Ballard died this week, I just found out about it. He was a brilliant writer, he shaped a lot of minds and a lot of opinions. I have been a fan since the late 70s and look forward to the posthumous publishing of his final work.

I didn't know if this should be here or in Philosophy, but since he has entertained me for years this is where I put it.

Reading Crash for the first time while working in a medical supply warehouse was one of the definitive experiences of my life.

He has collided with the final traffic barrier and fled the scene with dignity.

That's sad, he was genius. He had a way of looking at things from a perspective most people wouldn't even consider, but that made perfect sense the way he described it.
