Nah, San Francisco.

There's one in Orlando on the 24th of July, though. By which time I'll be back at work.

i think i am officially too old for the warped tour.

Why?

It's still the same old bands like Bad Religion, with the revolving cast of bands that no one really cares about and bands that are popular for one year and mocked by all their former fans the next.

Nah, San Francisco.
So you're going to be in Cali at the end of June?
Are you flying straight in & out, or do you plan to make any detours ala Mosh?

Yeah, Bad Religion's playing. Saw them at Warped Tour '07 in Vancouver and they were fucking awesome. Also NOFX, who I've never fucking seen and have always fucking wanted to fucking see and now I finally fucking can. WOOOOOOOOO!

Not to mention Adolescents, Anti-Flag, DI, Flipper, and fuckin' TSOL! And 800 bullshit emo bands that I'll ignore.

Nah, San Francisco.

It'll be either ANU -> SJU or ANU -> MIA, then straight to SF, spend about a week there, then to Reno to visit friends and do some cool shit like Yosemite, hopefully. Then about a week in LA with family, and then from LA back to SJU/MIA then home.

Philly/B-more ain't on this year's list cuz fairly soon I'm likely to be spending a decent amount of time in that area anyway. This year we're just trying to hit Cali and Nevada. See some friends, see some family, and not try to pack in too many places so we have some time to just chill and be on holiday in the places we are going to. Japan is probably gonna have to wait till I stop liking to smoke weed.

WTF are they doing playing at Warped Tour?! I mean, I don't actually like that much less than a lot of the emo bands that are playing, but at least the emo bands' sound kinda fits. That band sounds like they should be opening for Britney Spears.

not to sound like an old lady, but it is really fucking hot at warped tour and it is usually in a parking lot and there are five million little teenie boppers running around..

ugh..

i'm an old lady.

and i saw the adolescents in DC 2 years (maybe three) and they were AWFUL. just terrible. (i still bought the t-shirt). tony was so fat that his guitaro looked like a ukulele

its on the 38th parallel. So the weather will be about the same as Mosh's summer.

It gets way hotter down here than up where you are.

Ok, it might only last 5 minutes, but dude, it gets hot.

i saw them maybe a year ago or maybe a little longer and i thought they were pretty good. it was with the germs sans darby and battalion of saints. actually a pretty cool show even though that sounds like it would be total crap

If I went to see a punk festival, I'd probably go to insubordination fest.  I don't know if I care enough about it to pay fifty dollars, though.

the germs sans darby

No shit!

And the tickets to SF Warped Tour were a little less than US$40 each. Not bad really, at least not bad for a live-music-starved-muhfuckah like me.
