Title: the side of Japan you don't hear about
Post by: underclass on May 29, 2009, 03:44:14 AM
recent scandal highlights government control of media in Japan (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/29/world/asia/29japan.html?ref=world)

This is a real issue here. Japan society is about asking the questions you are allowed to (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honne_and_tatemae) and media reporting is strictly controlled.

you can. Just chill out, make friends, toast everyone and accept folk.

Corrupt politicians are everywhere, its just a matter of expression.

Lastly Giri is the shit. "Do things because you feel morally obligated to, even though you could get away with begging off"
