Ah yes, Todd Bridges. I haven't read the book but that is the second or third review of it I've read and one thing is plain: He's just another black man blaming white America for his own personal weaknesses. Instead of owning up to the fact that he used and sold every drug known to man, he ran whores, he committed crimes because he wasn't strong enough NOT to give in to his own hedonist wants, just blame the racist white folk and be done with it.

"Robert Downey Jr. came back and they embraced him!" RDJ was a movie star who was given a second chance and was out of the spotlight for 18 months and he got his shit together. He wasn't a TV actor with one role who smoked up all his earnings and then sell drugs and make women into crackwhores for a profit, stayed away having a good time for 20 years and then couldn't get his career started again.
