Being a "grown up" just really sucks; doesn't it?

According to my 12 year old 7th grade daughter, we "don't understand how hard everything is now"
 

I will give her that rumors & gossip spread much faster now. But that's because middle-schoolers have cell phones and better internet access than we had. Shit spreads fast by text, myspace, and youtube (school fights). We had to write it on notepaper,fold it up, and pass it without getting caught.
