You can always give him a penny to swallow. Thats how they did it on the farm. I think it has to be old though so its actually copper.

Maybe when pennies were made of copper, You can melt a penny with a bic lighter today because they are 90% scrap zinc. A copper penny wouldn't digest much, a current copper flash coated zinc penny would probably poison the dog.

Tape worm segments. you should be able to get something over the counter for that. They have Tape Worm Tabs for cats. About $18 for three tabs, but it usually only takes one dose (1 tab) to clear them out.

Yea i got him some stuff from petco.. a powder you sprinkle on the food once daily for 3 days.. it was about $20... seems like it did the trick.
