are awesome

I'm going to an ethnic Uzbekistan restaurant tonight. I hope to see a pit in the floor with one of these bad boys in it

I went for a 5 mile run on my lunch break in anticipation for this. All the research I've done in the PM in lieu of giving a shit about Japan's economy suggests I should have run 10 miles.

The Brazilian Grill is a place here that has brazilian waiters in funny south american costumes walking around to each table offering different meats on sticks. they shave or push off however much you'd like of each meat. lamb, petite filets, mini filets wrapped in bacon, pork, ribs, chicken wings, chicken hearts... everyone gets a small card, one side is red and the other is green. when you're sufficently stuffed full, flip the card to red and the waiters stop visiting the table trying to clog your arteries.

The best Brazilian BBQ is in Rio Grande del Sul.  That's like the Texas of Brazil.  :)
Like yours.  Only different.

the sticks they use at our local brazilian grill are pretty diesel metal skewers, so i'd imagine that could really hurt.

That's a ripoff of fogo de chao that krsna talked about ages ago at that other board that almost became the new L-G. Either that or the other way around. No matter, I think I'm gonna check out the LA fdc when I'm there. Sounds awesome.

BTW Katie no fucking way are you a vegan and know so much about so many awesome meats. Relax. It's OK. We love that you love meat.

The last time we were in New York we ate too much at Chinese place and then as we walked back to our hotel we saw a giant Italian street festival with all kinds of meats on all types of sticks.

We took turns kicking each other's asses.

cute, si. i swear i'm a vegan! but i love to dine out, and the brazilian grill is a favorite among all my male friends in particular. and as you could probably guess, i have a lot of those. i also really believe in food and the culinary arts, and am dating my second successive chef-boyfriend, so after sex, food is my life.
