I don't know what's better, her vagina or Magic The Gathering.

If you really don't know the answer to that, you might as well be dead.

I'm not even 200 pages in and already this book is fucking incredible. I can't imagine it not ending up being an alltime favourite of mine, so hopefully the next 400-some pages don't turn out to be completely horrible.

Anyone read this?

Yeah, as seen through the eyes of a child, starting at five years old in 1939.

That book is so sad.

I have been trying to read The Alchemist.  I don't get it.  It sucks. I can't get into it. Why is it so popular?!

FWIW, I finished this ages ago, and it was the best book I've ever read.

I liked it.

I never read The Power of One - I should however. I screwed up and watched the movie when I was a kid.
Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

Seriously, read it. I have Tandia, the sequel, lined up to read next. But it's a paperback and right now I'm getting a big kick out of reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo on my new Sony Reader. I guess some people have some fucking problem with e-readers, but I don't see why. You press a button instead of turning a page, but otherwise it works just the same except you can carry a shitload of books around in a device that weighs less than a paperback. TGwtDT is a fucking good read so far, too.

I am reading The Dog of the South.  It's excellent.  Reminds me of the way Jesus' Son is written.  I think I could write a book.  Loosely based on my tall tales.  Either that or I am going to write a book about my sister's bullshit.

dude, it'll be like the Lord of the Rings... 3 books about walking.

In this case, it'll be 3 books about boozing and crashing on peoples couches.
