does she know of your penchant for sucking dick?

She's likely young enough to think it's nice that he's open minded

Well it is nice that he's open minded. But I'm gathering that this one isn't a virgin and she knows what a dick tastes like. So yeah, brush before you kiss her.

Hopefully some of you have seen this, it came out this summer but it just came out on DVD last week and I picked it up tonight and watched it again.  Fantastic London gangster flick.  It's like Guy Ritchie finally pissed all of the Madonna out of his system and got back to making movies that are actually stylish, sick, hilarious, and entertaining again.  The formula doesn't stray very far from the model of Lock/Stock and Snatch, but it doesn't really need to in my opinion.  If you liked those you will like this very much.  If I remember from the discussion boards here about 10 years ago, most people enjoyed/talked about those flicks quite a bit.

Here's the imdb synopsis: "In London, a real-estate scam puts millions of pounds up for grabs, attracting some of the city's scrappiest tough guys and its more established underworld types, all of whom are looking to get rich quick. While the city's seasoned criminals vie for the cash, an unexpected player has a multi-million dollar prize fall into his hands."

People ask the question... what's a RocknRolla? And I tell 'em - it's not about drums, drugs, and hospital trips, oh no. There's more there than that, my friend. We all like a bit of the good life - some the money, some the drugs, other the sex game, the glamour, or the fame. But a RocknRolla, oh, he's different. Why? Because a real RocknRolla wants the whole fucking lot.
Pour the wine, hold the grind, quarter to nine, let's go.

Oh man I can't wait to see that  *drool*
Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

I downloaded it forever ago.  Probably won't watch it for a while cuz I always remember enjoying Guy Ritchie films but also remember how much they made my fucking head hurt.  At the moment I have to watch the Watchmen Motion Comic before I watch the live action Watchmen.....I bought the graphic novel a while ago shortly after I heard about it, how critically acclaimed it was, and how there is going to be a Watchmen movie.  I couldn't read it for long though, I'm just not big on comic books.  So I was happy to hear on Attack Of The Show about the motion comic so I don't have to strain my eyes and can have both hands free to hold most likely a hot pocket in the left and my dick in the right.

Re: RocknRolla Reply #4 on: March 07, 2009, 02:36:21 PM
I bought it the other day but haven't gotten around to watching it. I have high hopes for it, considering how cool* Lock Stock and Snatch were.

*Cool despite also being fucking ridiculous, ham-fisted and with complete bullshit dialogue, that was way enjoyable.
ever tried. ever failed. no matter. try again. fail again. fail better.

Hahaha, exactly! It's like, we shouldn't like it because of that, yet the style overpowers all the problems.

Actually that's what I remember thinking about The Cell when I first saw it.  Style was all it had and I liked it.

The Cell was awesome. Kind of weird to think of Vince Vaughn doing a somewhat serious part, though.

He was the best part about it, he's awesome.  But when you get over all the dazzling nightmarish dreamscapes and all that, there is pretty much NO storyline, or character development or anything.  I should prolly watch it again, it's been a long time.

EDIT: WHoops, I thought you meant vincent dnofrio (sp), HE was the best part.

Yeah, he really was.

Also, the scene with Jennifer Lopez smoking a joint in her knickers was pretty cool.

I don't miss the days of trying pause a nude scene on VHS and trying to beat it to some misshaped blurry tits with static through them all while they do a horizontal dance back and forth.
