I just read that they are currently filming Paradise Lost 3.  It's obvious these are just a bunch of stupid kids who could never have done things that horrific.  And those kids who are now adults deserve their freedom and it's fucking sad that this case didn't get overturned earlier.

In defense of not giving a shit about this case in particular - this case has been so well publicized and so much money has been donated to the defense, that of all the potentially innocent people sitting in jail, they're way ahead of the curve.

On the other hand, I can agree with Mosh that American justice is very strange. 

But then again, nearly 40% of Americans believe evolution is false http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/bigphotos/21329204.html.  I guess it should come as no surprise we've got a lot more in common with Saudi Arabia in some respects than the rest of the Western world.
