Makes me goddam proud NOT to be wearing a uniform these days. Someone's gonna fuck up and they won't have anyone to blame. And that's what command structure is all about, nailing some poor dumbass to the wall when the senior leadership pulls a goatscrew.

The US military doesn't really exist anymore. They are simply attack dogs for the rich and powerful owners of global corporations. And it's been so for almost 100 years.
