Anyone watch this? I saw some recap stuff today and a new episode just came on HBO, and it seems like it might be worth picking up on DVD at some point.

Man, I was about to make some deadpan comment about TV being shit and whatever. But vampire sex might just tip me towards getting a DVD out. I haven't watched a single episode of any TV drama/series in about 6 years, except one episode of a piece of shit show called "house" my friend had. When I hear that House was really popular that just reinforced my lack of interest in general television. But vampires fucking.... I'd pay to see that.

House is bleh. Hugh Laurie's done way better.

I generally hate vampire crap, except for funny stuff like Buffy, or if it's actually a good story like Interview, but True Blood turned out to be a really good show.  The only reason that I gave it a chance was because I saw an interview with the producer, where he said that they spent a lot of time researching other vampire shows/films so that they could make sure to NOT do what they did.
