We should do that with Cuba and Puerto Rico. The winner can become the 51st state.

I was in NYC during the Puerto Rican Day Parade and I can safely say I've never seen so many people who are so proud of being from some place so decisively unspectacular.

I was in NYC during the parade as well one year and my gay Mexican friend kept saying, "loser fucking Puerto Rican pendejos!"
