WTF have you guys been playing?

I'm half way through Call Of Juarez2

Trips me out because I have a Vietnam era buddy I lost contact with for over 20 years  and the older brother Ray in the game Sounds exactly like him.

Oh, I have contact with my friend now and the game still sounds like him.

I'm playing Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on the DS while I commute to work. The whole game is controlled with a pen on the touch-screen, fucking brilliant
Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.

I was going to try use my commute for something constructive, like learning some financial stuff that would help at work etc, but I think I'll just play gameboy

Dam, I got BioShock II and it wouldn't run. So I upgraded my video drivers and moved up to DirectX 10 and bingo. It runs great now.
But, Call Of Juarez2 which I was about half way through then refused to run. So I had to do a reinstall on that one and replace my save games but it worked out. Crisis, Crisis Warhead, and Call Of Duty - Modern Warfare all still ran fine.

I've got a version of windows 7 on a DVD, it supposedly has DirectX 11 but I'm not sure I want to go there just yet.

I got a bunch of stuff around xmas and nothing really held my interest very long.  Even that though, gaming is just efficient cash for hours hobby.

I played MW2, L4D2, Borderlands, and now Global Agenda.

Now that school/work/teaching schedule is back again I'm hardly playing shit.

That reminds me. I finished Half Life 2.  I was impressed with the new (at the time of release) game level design.

Thanks for the steam invite, Mr. Lib.

Plants vs. Zombies is only $3 on the iPhone/iPod Touch.  I spent a fuckton of time doing that this last week.

Shut up.  My boyfriend plays Plants vs. Zombies instead of doing his job... drawing characters for real video games.

Re: Games Reply #17 on: March 05, 2010, 03:16:19 PM
I've seen that game in the store so much but fuck if I'm going to pay for any of my apps. Srsly.

I finished CoJ-BiB a few days ago and started it over on hard. I played as Thomas all the way through the first time (where allowed) and now I'm playing as Ray. Slightly different story lines. Good game though.

I am currently successfully resisting the call of Bioshock 2.

Even though I have a boner for anything that shits on the objectivists.

Re: Games Reply #20 on: March 05, 2010, 06:21:23 PM
I am still on Madden 10 and Romance Of The Three Kingdoms VIII.

This one shits more on communists, really, but it doesn't focus on the politics as much as the first one did, mostly just on Sofia Lamb's craziness.

Re: Games Reply #22 on: March 05, 2010, 10:49:59 PM
Yep I've started that one but haven't really been playing it yet.

So whats the deal with this "new" Alien Versus Predator game?

Seems like I played that exact same game title quite a few years ago.
Is this a remake or a different story?

Finished Perseus Mandate this morning. Short game for 7 gb, Have "F.E.A.R. 2 : Project Origins" on the way.
May arrive sometime tonight, or not ... we'll see.

A couple of friends of mine recently discovered that I have GTA4, so I've been watching quite a lot of it, but haven't really felt the urge to play. It's like I've gone off video games for the moment.
