My World Cup experience hinges on the match today. Not just because I want Spain to win this thing, but because I have so fucking many friends here of Portuguese descent, who will talk endless smack if their stupid little team (who I'd probably be rooting for if they were playing most other teams) beats mine.

I think it was Colbert who summed it up the best: Portugal is little more than Spain's doormat (seriously though, I hear Portugal is lovely).
