For those of you in America, here is what most of the western world knows about your politics... you have a black man in the white house trying to fix healthcare, which is going nowhere because all of a sudden everyone else has a way better way to fix healthcare despite it being a basket case for the last 30 years. You're in two wars you won't win, which will bankrupt you as you try to compete with China economically, which you also can't win because people have less rights and they aren't fighting two wars. Sarah Palin is loathed by every single rational person in the free world. Conan is the governer of California, which is also broke, along with all of your banks. People can't get abortions in some places but can marry their gay partner in others. End.

This is how it reads for the God fearin' 'mericans...

"For those of you in America, here is what you know about your politics... you have a illegitimate non US citizen niggerman in the white house trying to destroy democracy. You're in two wars doing God's work slaughtering the infidel, as our Manifest destiny says we will rule the world. Sarah Palin is the most rational person in the free world. The Governator is the governer of California, which is also full of queers, but he'll sort them out. People can't get abortions because it's an affront to God, but can marry their sister in others, which all good God fearing 'mericans approve of. God Bless 'merica."

OK, movie was awesome. Loved it. One of double-R's best yet.

But here's a drunken observation. Curious whether this makes any sense to you folks (or me when I next read this sober).

My generation (me: born in '82 but I'd arbitrarily define 'my' generation as being born '75 through '95) is the last generation that will enjoy faux-shitty movies like this. Most of us remember shittier production values, not to mention non-digital recording of everything on tapes of various kinds. Various new generations are gonna think of CDs as waaaay outdated crap, I mean WHO really doesn't have at least several ipods!

Even still-drunk, a re-read of that shit doesn't make much sense.

I dont have several iPod's.

I have one, and that's too many. But I think I know what youre getting at. There is a shit load of awesome "lost" stuff out there.

Blaxploitation, Ozploitation, 60's Horror movies (who can pass up a movie with a title like The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies?), British Sci Fi with horrible special effects (classic Dr Who, The Tomorrow People), 70's and 80's American action TV shows.... there's just so much brilliant stuff out there that aint gonna get a look because its in black and white, or looks like it was made with polystyrene packing inserts and bubble wrap, or the hairstyles are just so bad... People have been so brainwashed to be so PC these days its fucked... I saw a group of kids in their early teens jogging the other day, it was sad (I'm not anti exercise, but to take living that seriously bothers me).

People have forgotten the art of enjoying life.
