Halloween Week Film Festival(Read 3600 times)
Halloween Week Film Festival on: October 26, 2010, 12:54:48 AM
Tonight we joined neat little movie store near the apartment. We rented: May and Spider Baby. Both great. Equally love both the characters May and Virginia. A. Has anybody seen these? And B. Is anybody else getting into the Halloween spirit this week and watching disturbing movies? This is my favorite week of the year.

Is May the lesbian Frankenstein movie? I didn't really dig it.

Caught a fun one the other night though. Trick R Treat.
Skybox, right up here in section La-Di-Dah.

I suppose May could be denoted as the 'lesbian Frankenstein' flick... I thought the actress was pretty good playing a sad little psycho. And I, too, love Jeremy Sisto's big hands...

Fuckin' A! I's gonna be sittin' out front on a milk crate armed with a slingshot, and any asshat kids come round to "trick" my house are gonna get eggs shot at them.

On now: Tim Burton's The Corpse Bride

Re: Halloween Week Film Festival Reply #9 on: October 27, 2010, 08:44:20 PM
I never saw that, but feel like I should. The Nightmare Before Christmas was good and Coraline was fucking awesome, so I would imagine I'd like it.

i watched about five minutes tonight and then started practicing halloween-style make-up wounds and scars on my boyfriend's 7-year old. his nurse mom fell for the faux hand wounds upon drop off. HA HA HA you're a fucking idiot. you went to nursing school and upon prelim exam on your own kid you freaked out that there had been no anti-bacterial ointment applied to supposed wounds. I AM A GORE MAKEUP ARTISTE. don't fuck with this.

I hate Tim Burton movies.

Me too.  The pacing always seems to be really far off and I end up having a hard time paying attention.

I like the ones I've seen. They're cute.

I'm stoned as fuck but would love to be eloquent enough to properly relay my thoughts on Tim Burton and how most likely you pretty much either really enjoy his stuff or hate it, but no, no can do.
