Just put up to like 4 lines of lyrics that you like. No copying and pasting entire songs, I probably won't read it. Or do, but I may skim over your post though. I have a short attention span...

Here are some that I like from Mutilated Lips by Ween

"Mutilated lips give a kiss on the wrist
Of the worm like tips of tentacles expanding
In my mind, Im fine, accepting only fresh brine
You can get another drop of this, yeah you wish"

Now your turn.
you treat me like a monologue ho

There's just one thing that I want written,
On the gravestone where I lie,
Tell 'em it's just my bones that died there,
So save the tears they'll cry,
'Cause my spirit is still riding,
Somewhere in this night,
And it's these three words that come to me,
As I kiss this world goodbye:
Never Say Die.

Bon Jovi - Never say Die
No one mourns the wicked.

Here's my contribution. But I must warn you that I don't hear lyrics normally. I listen to the whole thing as a wash of music. Consequently I find the vast majority of lyrics to be depressingly inane.

"and rose reincarnate in the ghostly clothes of jazz in the goldhorn shadow
of the band and blew the suffering of America's naked mind for love
into an eli eli lamma lamma sabacthani saxophone cry that shivered
the cities down to the last radio"

I feel i must interject here...
You're getting carried away feeling sorry for yourself
With these revisions
and gaps in history
So let me help you remember.
I've made charts and graphs that should finally make it clear.
I've prepared a lecture
on why I have to leave

2000 people hollered, "Go, John Henry!"
Then somebody hollered, "The mountain's caving in!"
John Henry told the captain, "Tell the kind folks don't worry.
That ain't nothin' but my hammer suckin' wind! (It keeps me breathing.)
This steel driver's muscle, it ain't thin."

Fomentatious perflation hydrogenates your foetal cisterna
Coagulating haemorrhage and your congenital hernia

Dehydrated soup - crumbling hygroma
Pectified sludge - dank, acrid aroma

Clotting uteral mucus, dissipating your foetus
Melting your uterus and evaporation your cyesis

Your molten foetus is reconstituted by warm, molten enzymes
Slowly digested in microwaved slime
Your stomach is churning, heat effervescing your succus
Your innards running like hot, sticky mucus

Mangled uterogestation, your perimetrium clots
Your insides cooking, steaming and hot

Guess the band...

Modest Mouse is the shit. "A Wild Pack of Family Dogs" always makes me think of my five mutts.

Anyway, lyrics:

---

I'm gonna stay away from LA, I'm staying far away from there
I'm going North of San Francisco, into the cleaner air
I'm gonna get a little land with the money I've saved
And buy an old house that I can work on
Where the next nearest neighbor lives miles away
I'll never have to mow the lawn (right on!)

---

You remind me of the babe.
What babe?
The babe with the power.
What power?
The power of voodoo.
Who do?
You do.
Do what?
Remind me of the babe!

Step aside You mountains of hardest stone
You deserts of drowning heat
Step aside Years and years and years
The history of the world Means nothing
Lay me in the ground I will ride across the world
Step aside You gates of tempered steel Y

I enjoy this in the same way some people enjoy asphyxiation:

Fitter, happier, more productive,
comfortable,
not drinking too much,
regular exercise at the gym
(3 days a week),
getting on better with your associate employee contemporaries ,
at ease,
...
still cries at a good film,
still kisses with saliva,
no longer empty and frantic
like a cat
tied to a stick
Like yours.  Only different.

I liked them up until their very, very recent songs.  I think they must have lost some creative control a few years ago.

One time, at a show here in Austin, he reached out and touched my hand.  I didn't know what to do.
