I'm going top pass until I'm done in Miami and then go physically look at what is up there. But looking at the property on Google Earth, it looks very viable, and $600 +/- got a 90x100 lot is a great deal.

After serious consideration, though, I think I'm probably out of the market for land in WV.  I'm probably going to be looking more PA/NY/VT.  The reception I've received with my fiancee while visiting family down in that area has been less than stellar.  The rural northeast seems much more tolerant of inter-racial relationships based on my experience thus far, so if I want land I'm probably headed that way.

I'm pretty good at showing somewhere between contempt and disgust towards others, when I'm not outright ignoring them.  And, for whatever reason, people tend to leave me alone.

It's more the looks she gets and things said when people think I'm not paying attention.  I'm more worried that I'll lose it and bounce someone's face off of the floor than actually be confronted.
