Or, you could submit some naked pictures of her to Suicide Girls, then she can become a Suicide Girl. Then you say, "Happy Birthday honey! This is your gift." Then you show her the naked pictures of her that are on Suicide Girls.

When I was back for a holiday this summer, I saw some of some new (to me) show called Hollyoaks. God, it was just awful.

Thus shalt not watch hollyoaks.

I hate the cheap, crappy, stoner humor that Adult Swim keeps making more of, and I've lost faith in british comedies not made by Simon Pegg.

But for some weird reason I like The Mighty Boosh...

I d/l'd the first episode of the new season of Ashes to Ashes the other night.

They finally nailed it. Nice and creepy in the Life on Mars way. 'bout time too.

And I'm still not sure if Keely Hawes is hot or not.

I used to love The Mighty Boosh. Only watched the first series though and then it became cool, haven't seen it since.

The IT Crowd is great too.

Re: TV Shows Reply #110 on: June 23, 2009, 03:57:19 AM
0, or depending if I watch a ball game on the weekend maybe 2 or 3. I probably watch less than 10 hours of TV per year, and all of that being sporting events, usually in a bar with friends. If I was in NZ it would be a bit more, because I'd watch Rugby and Cricket matches.

Actually it was living in the states that cured my TV habit. We didn't have a TV so I didn't watch any and just read a lot for 6 months, after that I've never felt the need to go back.

Being in Japan plays a little part, because I don't feel compelled to "give a show a try". However when I'm at someone elses house with cable over here and people watch TV I start wandering around looking for a book or newspaper.

When I was a kid I was a TV junkie, mornings and evenings every day. I guess I watched enough TV before turning 21 to last me a lifetime.

I probably watch 1/4 hour minimum each day. 2 hour maximum.

Mainly because I watch when I eat dinner.

Honestly, I spend way too much time on the internet instead.

Re: TV Shows Reply #114 on: June 23, 2009, 10:23:42 AM
I spend time on the net at work, mostly surfing news sites, email, here or real-estate stuff. Its probably because of the computer job that I avoid screens the rest of the time.

Yeah, I did work experience at a computer for a while, I don't think I could take a computer job.

My TV at home is basically an end table right now where I drop my pocket accessories when I get home from work.

I do watch some shows on hulu on my computer monitor (which is nicer than my TV anyways).

I just got into Kings on NBC.
Pour the wine, hold the grind, quarter to nine, let's go.

Re: TV Shows Reply #117 on: June 23, 2009, 03:35:35 PM
I work somewhere around 45-55 hours per week, depending on the season. There are TVs all over the office, all on all the time. Does passive TV hearing/occasionally glancing at count? Also, does doing something else while Amy watches stuff count? Do movies count?

Depending on how we define this, I spent anywhere between about 3 hours per week and 65 hours per week watching TV.
ever tried. ever failed. no matter. try again. fail again. fail better.

Re: TV Shows Reply #118 on: June 23, 2009, 10:05:33 PM
I counted all my passive and glance.
