While I get that you guys hate Britain with a curious passion, and in a lot of ways that's understandable, I don't get the hate for this. It's pretty harmless, naming a frozen wasteland after QE2, it's probably as close to her home world as anything else we have on this planet.
I live in a state named after a British monarch, us Commonwealth types get that the Empire is dead, but it's comforting to many of us to have some remaining ties to the Motherland (that includes places like India, or Belize, or South Africa). If it weren't for the British, there probably wouldn't be a USA as we all know it (I reckon if there'd been an English King on the throne around the mid 18th century instead of a German, the 13 colonies may have never have left the Empire, and California would likely be still part of Mexico). There's been more than one evil European empire over the ages.
