In his sleep? what does that mean? My sister died in her sleep. Were there other circumstances?

If there are, they aren't being disclosed at this time (that I can see) ...

Hey, he was famous, on drugs, and actually made it past 27!  Major accomplishment!

The only thing that surprised me is that it didn't happen sooner.

He'll just be another grunge scene footnote to future generations.
