Not the first time I've seen guests printing stuff. There was one printing out the HF thread a few weeks ago.
Maybe someone's making a shrine to L-G where everything must be collected and cataloged with its own serial number and space on the shelf.
We're all deadmen.

I would think it was Kyle printing and archiving.

Re: Current Thoughts Reply #4057 on: December 01, 2009, 03:58:21 PM
I've accidentally pressed print a fair few times before.

CT: I don't know how people work in an office for 50 years.  I've worked in an office for 2 and nearly quit every morning.

I think it depends on the office. I've worked for the same company for more than 11 years now, sat in the same spot for more than 9 years, and I'm OK with the job I have.

But I can imagine that an office where I had to do stuff like wear shoes or whatever might get kinda lame after a while.

Well, the other thing working against me is that I have quit every job I have ever had between about 16-24 months.  That's the point where the feeling of being trapped really sets in and I have to get away.

Re: Current Thoughts Reply #4059 on: December 01, 2009, 04:25:57 PM
I've had something of a similar history.

I kind of want to take a nap before the blazer game is on. Holy poopies it's cold out. Someone should shut the window.

ct: i auditioned for a play today. i am guaranteed a part, maybe not the one i want but one nonetheless.

the part I want is Aeacus, janitor of hades. my teacher recommended it to me because i'm small and really not very scary... so to have me play out an aggressive character she said would be amusing. And I did get laughs auditioning..

Its not a very big part, I do get to beat people up onstage. Year 13s even! (theyre running the show, theyre actually studying the book in class, us yr 12s just got the smaller parts -  less lines to learn. cuz the 13s are actually studying the book theyre supposed to learn quotes of it anyway).

I'm sure no one cares but I'm just so excited!

How many years of classes do you guys get? Are Year 13s in their final year?

Re: Current Thoughts Reply #4063 on: December 02, 2009, 12:31:14 PM
they are indeed.

Re: Current Thoughts Reply #4064 on: December 02, 2009, 12:39:44 PM
Same in Quebec.
They have three schools: Grade School is grades 1-7, High School is grades 8-11, Cegep is grades 12 and 13.

Re: Current Thoughts Reply #4065 on: December 02, 2009, 01:48:18 PM
ours is slightly different. we have two tier systems and three tier systems.
two tier is what i've gone through. primary school yrs 1 - 6, secondary yrs 7 - 13
the other one is primary school yrs 1 - 5 middle school yrs 6 - 9, higher school 10 - 13. (i think this is right).

but theres college too which is just for years 12 - 13.

That's how it was for me. Except P> K-6 M>(JH) 7-9  H> 10-12, 12 was the last year of common government mandated school.

Year 13's are seniors trying to make it this time around in highschool, here in the states.

in reference to school related matters....

I got into St. Edward's, paid my $150 acceptance fee, and I am now waiting to sign up for classes.  I finally get to take ALL nerd classes!  No more government, no more literature.... only accounting database systems and cost accounting classes.

Yeah, year 11 was my last compulsory year of education.
Well, set by the Gov. at least... I've still got a quite few years in my parents eyes.

They called them "Super Seniors" at my high school. The effects of "Super Senioritis" were something to behold, and often involved the police.

(from bash.org) <Twig> I just had an argument with a girl I know. She was saying how it's unfair that if a guy fucks a different girl every week, he's a legend, but if a girl fucks just two guys in a year, she's a slut. So in response I told her that if a key opens lots of locks, then it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a shitty lock. That shut her up.

No.  He sat at my house and cried about how he didn't want to be fucked in the ass for the next 5-10 so I felt bad for him and dropped the charges.  The state however can still pursue.  I felt kind of bad for him.  I wouldn't want to be a faggy/Indian/nerd in the Texas prison system.

I dunno if I could feel that bad for someone who fucked me over like that. I think I might be pretty fucking cold, actually.

So yeah... kudos on the compassion!
