I bought Gish on vinyl last year because it was like $5 and I was curious as to how it held up over the years.  I wasn't impressed.  It sounded painfully dated.

I'm always a little surprised at how dated some early to mid 90s alt rock can sound, since the flip side of that is that modern rock stations draw half of their play list from those same bands in the same time frame.

Gish isn't one of my favorites, it has a few good songs on it, but... yeah.

Gish was made back when Courtney Love was fucking Billy behind Kurt's back and tried to make him into a new Jim Morrison.
