I had to do a little housekeeping on my forum, basically deleting a suspected spambot attempt and noticed her name in the members list.  She had registered three years ago but never posted.  So I sent off a short invitation using the IPB board email function to the address she used when she registered and she showed up the next day. I was actually a little surprised.

Tell her to contact me on YM Facebook or whatever she's using these days, Mike. Been trying to get hold of that crazy old battleaxe for a year and a half... Maybe she thinks I'm mad at her or something... who knows?

I also love fixing stuff around the house. My garbage disposer broke about a month ago. I found the same model on eBay, bought it and received it. Yesterday, I disasmbled the old one and got the new one installed and it's working! YEAH. Feelings of total satisfaction. So awesome.

The only bad thing was at one point I was pushing against a rubber portion of the power cable, trying to get it out of the old disposer (the new one didn't come with a power cable) and the flat-head screw driver slipped and sliced the palm of my left hand. I haven't had a tetanus shot in 20 years, but I think I'll be ok.
