I'm taking courses at a local community college for an associates in "Computer Information Systems" with an objective of transferring to a four year school for a Computer Science degree.
I was afraid of the math (because I always hated math) but it turns out that if you just pay a little attention in class and do the homework math is easy as shit, and tons of fun! I'm having so much fun at school that the thought of getting a BS and going back to work at some regular job really sucks. Now my dream is to get a PHD from some kick ass school like MIT and get a bad ass job in research or academia.
Anyway, at the moment I'm loaded up on bullshit courses... Macroeconomics, Sociology, Composition, and Algebra. I couldn't take any programming courses until I got the Algebra course out of the way, and I want to get through school as fast as possible so I decided to just get all the electives out of the way since I couldn't do anything else anyway.
