I've never cared for these talent shows, but my cousin sent me a link to this woman's performance and it's pretty amazing.  She literally looks like she got hit with a dump truck, but her voice sounds like the cavernous echo of god's vagina.  Worth a listen.

Never underestimate the internet. I play google image labeller all the time. It's the single lamest ga,e ever, and it's been around for over a year now. So why is it that I never have to wait more than 10-15 seconds before some other bored-as-fuck clown comes in as my partner? It's crazy. How often are people going there bored out of their minds.

It's a big deal because people don't expect old ugly fat people to be able to sing.  It's common knowledge that only young pretty people can sing well.

That's really it.  She's a big deal because you see the judges go from "get off the stage, you ugly cunt," to "wow" in the course of her singing.  And now they're playing her like she's on a sideshow.

If she had pincers instead of fingers, she'd win hands down.

If she was a beautiful woman with the same voice she would still get praise but not NEARLY as much just because she's an abominable slob.  It's kinda sick actually.

Only thing that bothered me actually was when that first judge told her "Everybody in this entire room wanted you to fail... But then you sure showed them" (not a direct quote). I didn't want her to fail. Sure I thought it was kind of an inevitability that she would fail, but I wouldn't say I wanted her to. It's pretty damn rare for me to actually wish harm to come to a stranger. I'm much more of a "cold indifference" kind of guy. I know the judge meant well, but the way he said it kind of stuck out as unnecessarily cruel to me. Did anyone else notice that?

Also Simon's little equivoque at the end there is ridiculous. You can see him thinking it up as fast as he can while the first two judges are talking. He thinks he's so witty. Feh.

I'd like to see Gordon Ramsey go apeshit on Simon Cowell. He'd be all like, "You're a fake! You're a phony! Why don't you quit!".
