Funny thing is, my sister and I have almost identical eyebrows (sans unibrow for her, luckily), and it tends to be our biggest similarity, feature-wise. She gets Brooke Shields comments, which annoy her.

well, she is a girl. we're supposed to have dainty, thin brows. i think it's bs. i had this one friend who embraced her thick black eyebrows and had a tendency to groom them in such a way as to look like groucho marx. i never said a word.

i never did anything with my brows until after my first child. my hair went from light brown to black-coffee and my brows got really thick. let your sister know that the thinner the brows, the older one looks. we associate overly thin brows with old women. thick brows are coming back because women realize they look younger with thicker brows.
