I'm going to buy a game console to tide me over until Diablo II, except I don't know what to get and I haven't played games in years.

I like epic RPG games like Diablo II, Final Fantasy & Zelda. Advice please.

Handheld you only have one choice. (?) The new DS seems to have some funky new features, going by the adds. This really is a question for the egg imo.

edit: just read thru the wiki page. it's not what you want but the GP2X sounds like a good piece of plastic.

I have a DS. 

They sell mod cards too that can hold tons and tons of pirated games, which is pretty awesome.

I got a DS & Final Fantasy IV, which has some hard Japanese in it.

It came in useful on Saturday when I was too hung over to walk or go outside, so I didn't!
