About that other thing. I've been dealing with bringing something to market for about a year now. I've spoken with all the machinists, molders, and suppliers I use, plus two free consultations with patent atty's in town. My product is different than yours, but here's the jist of inventing shit in America right now:

To obtain a patent can cost between 4-10grand, depending on how much research your atty has to do (a lot of which you can do yourself if you have the time/inclination). To then defend a patent in court is about another 10 grand every time it happens. There is no guarantee of recouping those costs. "Winning" the court case may get you a cease and desist order, not any damages.

Just build 'em and sell 'em. Build enough to move you to WV at once and sell through them. It will cut down on the time the thing is out there to be stolen.
