I was listening to it and didn't realise I had music playing anyway so ended up listening to it pretty much entirely with another song (without a singer) playing... Yeah, I did get really confused near the end.

i tried to listen, with Dear in the background, watching Twilight Zone, and i thought the song was Eye of the Tiger...

i also thought you sounded great ~

it was what it was:

a surprised, drinking dude with a (supposed) friend that thinks it's pretty funny when it's YOUR ass in the limelight!

And it WAS!   

But, yeah, what a SHOCK to find yourself on YouTube!

Anyhow... I remember that night... We all got pretty juiced.. and by that point, you had about four or so... little did you know, DK was feeding you doubles... That's why I stuck with the bottled beer, my man...  Then again, the whole "American Idiot" competition was funny.... Quack was a hands-down winner, with you coming in a close second with that song... Strangely enough, when you started this particular song, EVERYONE in the bar decided to leave at once... I was laughing..

However, that still didn't stop me from breaking a few bottles outside that night... I went to move a chair to help the guys close down, and picked it up too high and knocked it into the edge of the table... Knocked half the bottles off the table...

I've also seen how angry you get when someone denigrates your career as a musician.

Actually, no one does that. Because most on here have no idea what I actually do. Its cool, I keep it that way. Those that want to know can ask and find out.

Remember, I never made fun of your band for no reason. I just told you to stop bringing it up every five fucking seconds, telling the rest of us (in the business) we were squat compared to you and you're self deemed amazingness.

It would be different if that actually happened.

All I ever did was mention things we were up to, i.e. tours, getting airplay, label offers, etc. In other words, I spoke of my career the same anyone would do, such as krsna talking about his self-made tattoo gun design.

I talked about my job. Same as anyone.

The only time I ever brought up anyone else was when people decided to take a giant shit on what I was up to.

But that's just it. People get defensive over things they really care about. Like Zooms and his larp'ing.

We knew where the website was. We could look up your concert schedule, sample tracks, whatever. We didn't need to be told. You don't take people to the restaurant and then waste their time reading the menu out loud.
