I also got to listen in on a conversation where one older man was explaining to a younger guy that Baltimore is whack. He said he'd lived in Chcago, Watts, and NYC and those were some tough places and Baltimore niggas would get fucked up at any one of them in the day. Then he went on to claim that it's unique to Baltimore that innocent kids get killed in the crossfire of turf wars. I found his revisionist history pretty entertaining. I mean, back in the day they must've been using hunting rifles and making sure they just killed the one dude that wronged them instead of, you know, shooting up someone's house or the street corner they're standing on or something.
