Y'all have been friends for SO long, folks.  i'm in awe, truly.

Just recently, some of your older members have come back, and it's been like a high school reOnion;

however, i have to wonder about why anyone ever left, in the first place?

If it was over some crap, like a fuktard new member that you just could not take,

or because that member just created hate and discontent, whether intended or not,

or just the what?

Hip is making noises like she is outta here if i stay ~ at the very least, i believe i'm not to post to her threads, i think, but that isn't any way to be a member of a forum, you know?

i was being a smart-aleck ~ it's a reunion, but i've always said reOnion because my school never had one, and that stinks.

The ENTIRE student body was about 200, only about 50 in the graduating class, AND it was in another country.  Our high school reunions aren't just for a certain year's class ~ they're for the entire school, and cover EVERY graduating class ever turned out.  They're All-School/All-Class Reunions.

I wonder if we'll have a reunion. I doubt it, I wasn't aware they do them over here.

Still, it'd be interesting to see how everyone turns out.

I think I'll be meeting folk from my high school at the end of the year. It's been 10 years. From what I've been able to gather there are two medical doctors, one lawyer and a whole pile of clutter and kids after that.

I was voted most likely to get in trouble by my senior class, and there isn't a picture above the title because I didn't show up to take the stupid picture.  I also didn't graduate from highschool, I got a GED.  Fuck you America.

The Dept. Of Secondary Schools Queensland wont issue me with a little piece of paper saying I finished grade 10.....because I didnt. I did however go on to drop out of grade 12...twice.

I didn't fulfill the requirements (didn't take all of the mandatory testing), but I graduated anyway.

I dropped out of the 12th grade because my dad left town to be with his girlfriend and my mom was in prison, so I had to fend for myself.  I stripped and moved in with a guy and that is why I got my GED.  Does it make sense now?

I stopped caring about school and dropped out so I started working. I much prefer working.

I just skipped a year to party in Japan and rocked up to university the following Autumn.

Must be nice being a rich white boy, I was unfortunately not one.  Life is whatever you make of it though.  I don't want to make $11/hr the rest of my life so I am putting myself through school.  I am even taking a second job tutoring next semester, so I'll be working 60 hours a week and going to school 9 hours.  It's the only way to stay away from the men.

My parents are high school teachers. I borrowed every cent to go to university and had two part-time jobs to back that up. When I graduated I lived like a monk for 2 years to pay back the loan. I also think NZ uni costs are a lot less than what gets charged in the US, which is fucking insane.

Rich white boy? I haven't had more than 3 weeks off work at any time in over 11 years.

I guess I come into the spoilt sheltered brat category.

I've done my GCSEs, getting the results next week. I plan to go to school for another 2 years and then go to uni.

But if I go to uni my parents have told me they will pay for it. It's the one upside to parents like them, they have a strong sense of duty.

And according to them it is their duty to help me with my education in whichever way possible.



...of course they also said I have to go to uni.
