Mods,
Editing user's posts (as a joke) might be funny to you guys, but the small number of us who aren't mods certainly don't enjoy it.
I might have posted personal info about Danzig here, but I did it in a place where he had full control over removing that information. What I didn't do is remove control of that information from him by posting it on a site he couldn't remove it from. While I could certainly do that, I don't feel that it would be right or fair to do so. Some moderators here however fail to make the distinction between doing what they want to, and doing (or not doing) what's the correct thing to do.
Removing control of the content we create because you think it would be funny or because you disagree with what's being said is far removed from what this place is supposedly about.
Zoomie, you rail against Skip, but then you tell Tricky you'll continue to fuck with her posts simply because you can. Isn't that the same sort of thing you're so pissed off at him for?
I was a moderator for years at AS and LG, and not once ever did I edit someone's post because they pissed me off, doing so would have been unthinkable. I really don't understand how this could be taken lightly.
