I'm colorblind. Besides, it seems my eyes go from blue to grey to light green at times. There isn't a set answer, but my family always just called them hazel.

How many of you have the same condition that I have where sunlight (or any light actually) can cause sneezing. Especially after waking up. This is called the Photic Sneeze Reflex (or ACHOO Syndrome if you're gay like that), and it's genetic hence the post here.

Secondly, this isn't genetic but I think it has to do something with age. How many times in a row do you usually sneeze when you have to sneeze? It's often only once for me, but twice is also far from uncommon. Three times in a row is almost unheard of for me.

I never sneeze just once. it is usually 4 or more times min.

and more than ... I would say 99% of the time... there is a follow up sneeze ( just one ) about between 30 - 60 seconds later.

There was a guy in my old school who did the sneezing several times straight continuously.
He was mocked for it, but I hated the guy so I found it amusing.

I dont sneeze one straight after another, but if I'm still cold I'll sneeze soon afterwards.
Like on thursday, I was sneezing like every 5 minutes. It was horrid.

When the molds are high, or cedar count is above normal, I can literally sneeze one-after-another-after-another for hours unless I take Bendryl or something. I don't think I got the light sneezing though my mother and her father both have it big time.

Apparently it has to do with brain structure. If other nerves run too close to your trigeminal nerve, they can cross-stimulate it. For people with PSR, the optic nerve is overstimulated and cross-triggers the trigeminal. I imagine it like electromagnetic induction although I'm sure it's actually just a matter of chemical gradients and permeable membranes.

My mom could do that, and she also had a way of sneezing that didn't make ANY noise ~ she'd like put her finger cross-wise to her nose, and just make a tiny little sound.
