Don't worry, that's just my lower back not my ass cheek or anything. I'll just cut to the chase. It would appear that I have a fucking mild case of shingles. Yes, shingles.
Eerily this rash started the day after Mosh, eitje and I hung out at this coffee shop here in town. Ian what did you bring with you? It's probably the itchiest thing I have ever had on my body. I waited over a week applying Cortisone cream to it to help with the itching, thinking it was just an allergic reaction to something. But what "something"? I hadn't changed soaps, detergents, diet, and hadn't been outside in any leaves, grass, or around bugs that I was aware of.
So I went BACK to the god damn doctor's office for the second time this year to get it checked out on Friday morning. I gave the doctor the run-down of my symptoms and the odd joint-pains that I was getting while Lucas and I were driving to pick up Ian, and the really bad joint-pains that Sunday night after we all hung out. That is a potential sign of shingles, as is general malaise and feeling sick. But the one thing I didn't have that is almost universal in shingles outbreaks is any pain, or burning sensations at all. Just an INSATIABLE itch. I have a few more spots on my right side over my ribs too. Anyway the doctor says it'll go away in two weeks, and if it does it is most definitely shingles. If it doesn't go away in two weeks it is probably an allergic reaction to something and I'll need to go back and get a prescription for something.
So Sasha... is that what your bumps on your chest feel like? Also Lucas, I remember you saying you were having joint pains too... IAN IS TRYING TO KILL US ALL.
