When my hair is short it is so hard to get it past the shoulder stage.  I feel like it looks like a mullet.  Now it is to the middle of my back.  I'm going to grow it to my butt and then cut if off and donate it to a certain fat goth boy we know so he can wear it when he goes bald.

Argh. Vellus hair is not the same as a manly beard. Stop faggoting up this thread, madam!

I'm sorry, it's clear you are all succeeding well enough without me...

But, if it helps, my brother has a full fledged beard and moustache. He is trying to get a goatee. It's brilliant.

You could just comment admiringly about the beards of us gentlemen. And you could make us sammiches for when we're hungry.

...older or younger brother?

Re: Moustaches Reply #38 on: November 03, 2009, 12:41:05 PM
Same age, he's had a beard since he was at least 13, probably longer. 13 is just when I know he definitely had one.
His nickname is also sandwich. It's a sign!

I can't comment admiringly without pics.

I have trimmed my beard a little shorter since then (for the summer) and I think soon I shall have my hair cut off really short for a while too. In anticipation of the application of medicated crap for a while. It's all frazzled anyway and isn't going to grow any longer unless I cut it off first.

So what's the likelihood that a French Fork might be in the cards, then?
Hell, you could pull off a Hulihee. I have beard envy.

Also, the shades are a nice touch.

First pic: Nice. How long did that take? I'm actually thinking most recently of growing mine out. I haven't trimmed the beard in about a week now...

Third: #3 and #6 ought to have positioned themselves better to balance the picture. It puts my Feng Shui meter all out of joint.

Second and Third: Man... All Antiguan chicks so tasty?

Man, I really like burning money when I'm drunk.  The last few times I've been drunk and around a fire pit, I've built absurdly large fires and burnt everything I could get my hands on, including the contents of my wallet.

Re: Moustaches Reply #50 on: November 03, 2009, 04:18:13 PM
Hah! No wonder our resident Beltane fiend likes to bring you along! I dig your style.

One of these days I want to have a good wild Midsummer bonfire. I need shore-front property and time first.

I actually don't think I've gotten out of hand with the fire at any of the Celt gatherings.

Speaking of, 38425 Bayview Road, Colton's Point, MD.

I'm going down Friday morning, I think. Going to try to build a headsail furler for my Newport, and do some minor maintenance. Then onto the water until Samhain fire Sat night. Let me know if you're coming, I'll bring you some garb.
