Skype has a text chat function, as well as audio and video.
So, if you don't have a microphone or webcam (I recommend this or this, both of which I've personally used), you can still listen or see the other person and text chat with them.

So, for example, you could use Skype to watch someone perform a striptease.  Or, you could use Skype to listen to multiple people have a conversation about anal sex.  Or, you could use Skype to have a video conference with other people, making it seem like you're right there, even though they might be two continents away.
