DELICA!

Re: Whereupon Art Thine Zoomie. Reply #41 on: March 25, 2009, 02:22:10 AM
I just got rid of one of these:

1987 Toyota Corollla FX ...

40MPG, cost me $500 when I first got to Florida ...
Lasted 11 years, sold it STILL RUNNING ...
It was my "Go Cart" and a vehicle I loaned to friends when they needed one ...
Strong car, cargo space, and reliable ...

I miss it already, and it's only been a week ...

Ask Ian, it looked "OK", but it ran like a champ ....
It was a 4th car though, so I gave it away, pretty much ...
The kid that gets it is lucky ....
It's SOLID, even with 246k miles on it ...

My firend has a 1984 Toyota Tercel ...

... with 568k miles on it, and STILL runs strong
It's a "spare car" as well ...

Toyotas ROCK, and I'm gonna buy another one for a "spare" when I see one really cheap ...

BOOYA, MOTHERFUCKER!!!

I personally dislike Toyota's... but they do work, no doubt about that.

I'm currently looking for one of these:

$18K is too much for this particular one...

Re: Whereupon Art Thine Zoomie. Reply #44 on: March 25, 2009, 03:09:48 AM
Fairmont.

Re: Whereupon Art Thine Zoomie. Reply #45 on: March 25, 2009, 06:54:56 AM
That was sold here as the Falcon. They didn't manufacture the Fairmont in the US until 1978.

We had Falcon variants of that too... was the base model... Fairmont was a bit upscale, which meant it had carpet.

Ford still makes Falcon here... it has evolved a bit.

I want one of these, car would be nice too

Loaded-Gun.com - I don't know what the hell they are talking about or why they are even there. They don't make serious points and they don't joke, but they still manage to make a lot of posts somehow.
