I made the rice and used a couple of Raman noodle seasoning packets in the water. It turned out really good.didn't fuck with the spinach so chicken and rice it was. But the chicken was well seasoned and very tender but with a crispy skin so it was pretty good.

I don't think I have anything for tonight.

hmm. we buy ramen, but I usually dont do the seasoning packets. I never thought to use em in something else.... I dont know what to make tonight. we had albondigas last night.. I have spaghetti stuff, pork steaks which I was gonna coat and oven bake, red pork for chinese, which I think Im gonna do tomorrow, Mole, and a shit ton of chicken.. I think maybe a salad and roasted chicken... zoom has been asking for a salad.
 

I have used them as seasoning for faux Rice-A-Roni quite often. But this is the first time I had used them for regular rice. I usually only use one packet in fried rice but this time I used two because there was a larger volume of rice.

The Noodles, the reason I usually have a few packets of seasoning about is because I like to make skillet noodles with celery, carrots and ham. I always use two packets of noodles but only one or often just a part of one seasoning packet. I only use the water or sometimes slightly less water than you would use for one pack of ramen. And quickly add the other previously cooked ingredients as soon as the noodles start to soften. You don't want to over cook them.

Yeah, I can see where timing is essential doing that ...

ive overcooked them. its gross. im making the last of my pork in mole tamales tonight and a fresh batch of salsa.

Early Last week I used my new little trailor to buy and deliver a Weber B-B-Q to a school event.
In exchange I got Macaroni Salad enough for four days. I lived on that shit! LOL

I cooked some pintos and had some refried with dinner the other night, and I was gonna make chili with em tonight, but I dont feel like eating beans yet. so Im making chicken salad.
had fried chicken last night.
I think im gonna go ahead and freeze the beans. chili lost its luster after a few days.

my aunt used to make this salad with mexican crema and tiny diced ham and pepper and I think mustard. it was so good. Ive asked all of them, except the one who passed away, and no one remembers the danged salad. grrr. Last time I had it was when I was like 9.

Tuna doesn't sound to strange, I've had sardine pasta. But it is not a part of common macaroni salad.

I do the same thing when making potato salad, except with Italian dressing.
Really adds a bit of a kick.

Oh, yeah ... and a few splashes of light Italian dressing ....

Well if you pre-cooked the carrots, celery and ham and combined it all in the end I bet it was pretty satisfying.

It's important to not use too much water when doing the noodles.
