This show is on netflix and I thought I'd see what it was about. Watched about 10 minutes before shutting it off. It was horrible, a guy got cut in half by a semi while working under his own truck and THEY ACTUALLY SHOWED HIM. Yes, there was a couple filming their honeymoon trip there when it happened.

I don't mind reenactments, or old stories, but I don't want to see a guy getting smushed right before my eyes.

Just horrible. Might as well just bring back the old "throw them to the lions" style of entertainment.

I have thoughts on this.

1. If you want the job you aren't worthy of it.

2. If you fuck up, you get fed to the lions on live feed, free to the public.

I bet the country would run a lot more smoothly if they just wanted to get it done and go home and the penalty was spending eternity in a pile of lion poo.

Desensitized? People used to get off on that sort of thing, public executions and all that. Chopping a guys head off was like going to the circus.
