Thanks for listening,

Indian rum, eh? Is that Old Monk? I found most Indian booze to be dreadful, although I didn't mind a bit of Goan port.
As for tequila, I'm OK with it although I will almost never choose it on my own.
The worst possible thing to put in front of me is Southern Comfort. Hoo boy, did I ever have a terrible early drinking experience with that crap!

I don't want to sound like a douche or nothin but I'm kind of a sucker for Campari. It makes me feel like I live by the sea and I own a yacht. Not really a hard drinking drink though. For that my standard go to is probably JD. I'm just too perpetually broke to enjoy the finer things.

I'm telling you, the way to go is 40s, box wine, MD 20/20, and Five O' Clock vodka.

40s are ok depending on what it's a 40 of. I was really anti-40 for a while because of all the "Boomerang" and "Tornado" and other shitty raspberry-and-lime-flavored beers and whatnot that came in 40 form and were inevitably the only things left to drink at the end of a house party. Box wine I actually usually enjoy for the memories. Malt liquor is on my blacklist because hell I won't remember the night. Not the biggest fan of vodka either for pure taste reasons. Cheap bourbon is infinitely smoother than cheap vodka.

Re: Maker's Mark Reply #36 on: March 03, 2009, 02:27:25 PM
I always enjoyed Milwaukees Best or Natural Ice for 40s.  Box wine is AWESOME.  Perma drunk for days if I have no tolerance.  MD is actually pretty fucking shitty, but sometimes you just gotta get drunk.  And bottom of the barrel vodka tastes like paint thinner.  I'm sure some of you remember the video I posted of me almost puking up Five O' Clock vodka.

I just saw that the other day for the first time. And then I watched the other 4. Dylan in moving pictures. What a world. You look like John Belushi in the hair video.

People keep making comparisons, Jack Black, Ethan Suplee, now fucking John Belushi.....and I'm not super offended cuz they aren't hideous but I'm not happy about the comparisons either.  Eh.  The worst part is that I DON'T LOOK LIKE ANY OF THEM.  I would agree if I did but I don't.

I remember when I went to go see Life Aquatic and through out the whole move Bill Murrary drank Campari on ice, after the movie I went to the bar to have one and it was awful... until I requested a splash of orange juice in it.  It was very tasty then.  Which brings me to my point.  Tequila is good, but only with a splash of orange juice.

Re: Maker's Mark Reply #44 on: March 04, 2009, 12:21:01 AM
Dude, Campari is the shit. You can't sully it up with orange juice. That's like adding rootbeer to Fernet.

Tequila is also good when you're 17, bored as fuck in art class, and drinking it from a Wendy's cup while the teacher is sitting just 20 feet away at her desk.

I remember sneaking coffee brandy on a fieldtrip-bound bus.

I remember drinking four belts of Evan Williams a few minutes ago.
Could it be time for number 5 so soon?

I used to get drunk working as a lift-op at a ski field in lake Tahoe. Next time you see a liftie note that he's not only blitzed, but probably smashed to boot.

This takes me back to rolling joints behind a book in the back of class...

Haha nice.

I guess Sasha hasn't seen this thread yet - she's the one who brought the tequila into class in the Wendy's cup. God, I loved that art class. We fucked around basically every day. I brought in an Insane Clown Posse cd once on bring-your-own-music day or something. Sasha - remember the itching power? And the water guns? Hahaha.
