I went to the doctor today and put my feet up in stirrups.  I hate doctors and their use of shots and stirrups and speculums and talking down to you if you sleep around.

I don't understand doctors who ask about sexual history.
When I told my doc i have a (very) irregular period and i wanna be on the pill he asked why, are you sexually active?
and obviously the answer is no but shut up goddamn nosey doctor. why it doesn't seem to phase them really fucking pisses me off.

They aren't really trying to be nosy.  It's that, IF you ARE sexually active?  There are certain tests that should be performed on you, on a regular basis.

Also, it lets the doc know if you're a virgin, and the use of a speculum would NOT be a "good idea"

So, no, not nosy, at all.  Just trying to give good, all-inclusive, quality care.


p.s.  Your doc is bound by a code of silence (Doctor/Patient Confidentiality) regarding your medical history.

Unless YOU choose to alert/warn others of fatal, contagious disease (AIDS, HepC, etc.), or life-threatening disabilities (diabetes, epilepsy, COPD, etc.) by bracelet, tattoo, micro-chip implant, whatever,

your privacy is King.

I went to my NEW doctor yesterday since it feels like knifes are stabbing my uterus everytime I take a step as I walk and she asked me if I was sexually active and how many partners I have had in the last 6 months.  She then did a chlamid/gon test and won't get the results until Monday, but still prescribed me medicine.  I know I don't have it because I went to the std clinic last week and they said I was negative for those things and I should probably go to my GP to find out what the pain could be.  I told her this but she didn't listen.  Why do doctors refuse to listen?  I am still having the pain btw and it spread to right under my ribs randomly.  I love western medicine.

Am I the only one ere who has sued doctors ?

Seriously. We all have medical degrees. We all know what's best for ourselves, and don't need their clinical opinions. The only thing we need them for is prescription medicine and that's a big government ploy anyway. Why can only doctors prescribe meds? Way to stifle free market, guys. Sheesh!

Dr Emp, I finally broke the seal on a 4 year old bottle of Middleton last night (Four years in the bottle that is). Had just three shots before I turned to massive amounts of other beverages. It was exquisite. I'll be serving it along with something roasted on the fire at the river next Saturday night for Fall Equinox. Could be zucchini, could be pork belly.
