How far south? I may be visiting a super magnet manufacturer, well actually they manufacture the equipment that manufactures super magnets (http://www.oersted.com/)  in Portland sometime this summer. The company I work for wrote the code that controls some of their equipment several years ago.

They have magnets there that are dangerous to even be in the same room with.
