Bill Withers is fucking amazing. I have a greatest hits album of his that I can play pretty much from start to finish without skipping songs, and that's rare.

Yeah I went looking for that Hall and Oates video and ended up spending two hours mixing my own tunes, as I too often do when I go to YouTube. Went from the original version of She's Gone by Tavares, though written by H&O, to the one I posted which is amazing, to some Steely Dan, to Michael McDonald, to The Doobie Bros, to James Ingram, to some Stevie Wonder, then about six Bowie songs, winding down with David Bowie and that whiney homo Billy Corgan doing "All The Young Dudes" which Bowie wrote and finishing up here:

And now I have to make food so I'll go back to "Any Major Dude Will Tell You" by Steely Dan.
