 In my case it's not so much animosity as much as simply wanting to slap him upside the back of the head nearly every time he puts finger to keyboard.

Yeah I don't either. I agree with the way he feels on many things, I approve of his Jewish banker look, I approve of his appreciation for shoegaze, and I think his on-board antics are morbidly funny.

As far as parasites are concerned, I don't see the harm there either. Parasites are the most evolved form of life. In order to form a parasite a good infrastructure of lesser-evolved organisms must esixt to support you. It's life of a higher order. I for one don't care enough about my fellow man to hold off from leaching if it ever became my best option. I'm not saying his analogy was apt at all, but perhaps bagman was trying to pay an underhanded compliment.
