This guy comes from Fukushima, quite a way up north. It's a +3 on the dryness scale so is really smooth. I'm drinking it at room temperature, which is what's recommended on the bottle.

I sat in a really nice sushi bar in DC and tried all of their sakes a few summers ago.

Unfortunately, the fact that I tried them all means I remember very little.  The ones I do remember drinking were excellent.

The ones I've tried to buy myself at the liquor store have always turned out poorly.  Perhaps because the girl I used to hang out with always picked the one with the prettiest bottle...
