Ugh.
What if I get selected and I have to help decide life or death for somebody in a criminal trial?
What if the facts don't point to a conviction, but the character of the defendant is horrible and they're a completey unmoral person? (Been convicted in the past for similar things.)
What if I am the lone person in the jury who causes a "hung jury" and thus a mistrial?
Have any of you been selected and if so was the case interesting? Did you have to decide the fate of somebody's life?

What are you 12? Go tell them you'll be out of the country or go serve.
-
Tell them you will be fine with serving but that you hate niggers.

Nah. Tell them a lie. Tell them you want to kill whitey.
-
Or tell them that seeing as how you have a diagnosed phobia against large groups of people you cannot serve impartially...
-
The one time they actually put me into the selection room it was for a drug case, which meant the prosecutor was going to kick me off and I didn't even have to lie.

Ahhh, the truth.
I've never been selected. YAY me!

If I was chosen for a drug case I'd just tell them the truth: You know that I will find them not guilty for any kind of drug charge, don't you?
-
I told 'em I worked nights; it worked ...

That's what Emp said.
